The Swedish chef Simon Casselryd’s path to becoming a chef has been all about passion and determination. Without formal training or family ties to restaurants, he started at Proviant in Stockholm, where Håkan Thor taught him the basics and the importance of hard work.

At Rolf’s Kök, Johan Jureskog showed him how to create food with love and simplicity. In Barcelona, Raffa Pena introduced him to precision and the value of great ingredients.

Back in Stockholm, Simon worked at the two-star Michelin restaurant Oaxen, pushing his skills further. Now Sous Chef at Rolf’s Kök, he carries forward the lessons of his mentors to inspire the next generation.
