As the Australian Race 2025 approaches, Champagne Taittinger is proud to renew its commitment to the MoneyGram Haas F1 team. Initiated in 2021, this partnership marks Taittinger’s first foray into the world of motosport.
For fans of beautiful machines, sporting feats and incredible thrills, the month of March is a highly anticipated time of the year. As the weather begins to turn fair, the new season of motosport season is just around the corner, with this year’s Australian Race 2025 taking place on 16 March at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne. This will be followed by 24 other races held all across the globe, over a schedule running until December. Its key highlights include the Monaco Race (25 May), the British Race (6 July), the Italian Race (7 September), the São Paulo Race (9 November) and the season finale in Abu Dhabi (7 December).
This season will be a significant one for MoneyGram Haas F1, as the team unveils its brand-new driver pairing of Frenchman Esteban Ocon and British driver Oliver Bearman, who will take over from the departing Kevin Magnussen (Denmark) and Nico Hülkenberg (Germany).
With his victory in the 2021 Hungarian Race while he was racing for Alpine, 27-year-old Esteban Ocon is the first driver to compete for the for the American constructor (founded in 2016) to have won a race of this stature. At his side is 19-year-old Oliver Bearman, who will be making his début as an F1 starting driver. Bearman made a name for himself during the Saudi Arabia Race 2024, as a reserve driver for Carlos Sainz Jr. (Ferrari). During that race the young driver finished in 7th place – an impressive achievement for his first-ever F1 event.
For Haas, this inaugural race will be an opportunity to test the synergy between this high-powered duo, as the Maison Taittinger wishes them every success – and of course, plenty of champagne showers!
