To mark the forthcoming of the ‘Taittinger’ – International Signature Cuisine Prize – that will be held on the 30th of January 2024, meet Kevin Vaubourg, candidate for Switzerland.

Executive chef of Anne-Sophie Pic’s restaurant at the ‘Beau Rivage Palace’, Kevin Vaubourg knows well and masters the demands required by haute cuisine.

A competition enthusiast, he appreciates the stimulation and the positive stress that results from it.

Winner of the Swiss selection, Kevin had candidates in front of him from very beautiful Houses including the famous ‘Hôtel de Ville’ de Crissier. He can be proud of this first victory.

For the final, he was able to work on his dish regularly due to the restaurant being closed for refurbishments.

He knows well that the surprise recipe, revealed the day before the competition, will also be a challenge because it can be destabilizing but that is precisely part of the pressure of a competition.
