Driven by a passion for cooking from a young age, Stijn Rotthier trained at Ter Groene Poorte.
In 2011, he joined Zilte, the prestigious Antwerp restaurant now awarded 3 Michelin stars. Under the guidance of his mentor, Viki Geunes, he honed his craft and discipline.
After significant experiences at Likoké and De Kromme Watergang, Stijn returned to Zilte in 2017 as sous-chef, playing an active role in the creation of dishes.
In 2020, he opened his own restaurant, Fortuin, in Kontich, which was named Best Brasserie of the Year 2023 by Gault & Millau, blending family traditions, culinary innovation, and a commitment to sustainability.
