The Maison Taittinger has launched a new visitor experience designed as an invitation to exploration and shared moments: “L’Instant Famille” (« Family Time »). This is a brand- new visitor experience that opens up our historic cellars to both young people and adults, offering a more in-depth interaction with their exceptional heritage.
This historic setting, whose hillsides, houses and cellars are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, invites visitors to travel back in time. From the Gallo-Roman chalk quarries, whose pale, unchanging walls carry the memory of antiquity, to the remains of Saint-Nicaise Abbey harking back to the area’s medieval influence, to the poignant traces of the First World War, visible through the graffiti etched into the chalk, each stage of the visit illustrates a different period in history.
A different way to discover a living heritage
This fun and educational trail is designed to be inclusive, especially for children aged 6 to 12, offering an accessible and dynamic introduction to the House’s heritage and expertise, combining education, wonder and the preservation of history. The story is told, explored and experienced at the child’s level, enabling younger visitors to engage with this living heritage and awaken their curiosity.
The visit continues with a special moment for each group: adults are invited to a guided tasting of two of the House’s signature cuvées, the Brut Réserve and the Prestige Rosé, while children take part in an art workshop inspired by the creative world and the Taittinger collections.
With “L’Instant Famille”, the Maison Taittinger has created a cultural and sensory experience that combines history, emotion and passing on heritage to the younger generation. It’s a moment where time stands still, bringing generations together around what matters most: the joy of learning together.
